SEQTA Engage Parent Guide

Viewing and Clearing Notifications

Click on the icon at the top right to view or clear notifications.

 

Notifications appear when there are changes to assessments that are visible or when a new academic report is available. An email is sent if a notification is not viewed 2 days after it is available. 

 

Clear individual notifications by clicking on the "X" next to each one.

 

Clear all notifications using the "Clear" button on a computer of “X” button at the bottom of the list of notifications on a mobile device.

 

If you only want to view SEQTA Engage notifications when you launch the app, you can disable notifications in the settings of your mobile device.

About SEQTA Engage

SEQTA provides a parent platform called Engage, which is accessible as a website or a mobile app. The web access is available at https://engage.friends.tas.edu.au.

 

If you forget your password, select the ‘Forgot your password’ option. Enter your username and email address and select ‘Reset password’ . The SEQTA system will then send you an email with further instructions . If you are unsure of your username, or have any further queries, please contact engage@friends.tas.edu.au.

 

 

SEQTA Engage provides access to information such as:

  • Welcome: Links to school online services

  • Assessments:  Regular feedback to students that is made available to parents

  • Notices: High School and Clemes student bulletin

  • Portal: School Calendar, School Publications (What's On, Morris Newsletters, Rose and Waratah)

  • Timetable: Your child's timetable (including teacher email contacts and attendance recorded). At Morris, the timetable includes a morning registration and specialist classes. Some co-curricular activities will appear as activities on the timetable too.

  • Reports: Academic Reports and Learning Records

 

Students also have access to SEQTA Learn at https://learn.friends.tas.edu.au or via a separate SEQTA Learn mobile app.

Using SEQTA Engage

If the menu does not appear, use the ≡ icon to expand the menu.

Assessments

All teachers will publish progressive feedback for students during the year in SEQTA Engage. This feedback can be accessed using the assessments link and then the subject / Unit of Inquiry.

Teachers may choose to use SEQTA to publish upcoming assessments for students.
