BrainPop

BrainPop is used at Morris for .. (EALD, other uses?). There are a number of versions, including BrainPop ELL and Brain POP Jr. The Morris Library manages the subscription. Information Services manage the single sign on setup through Google.

Teachers create classes and allocate activities to students in this classes.

Students use class codes to join the classes.

Teacher Access

  1. A teacher Logins at brainpop.com using Google Sign In.

  2. They go to Dashboard to create a class: + New Class

  3. The class has a code associated with it. The class code will be something like diamond8453.

Student Access

  1. Students use a browser → Sign In using Google sign

  2. On first sign in students will be prompted to enter the class code to join a class.

  3. To join additional classes there is a link at the top of the student BrainPop home bag

  4. Fo ease of access it would be best to save the BarinPop page to the students Home Screen (and remove the BrainPop apps).

Please Note:

The BrainPop apps do not support Google Sign in (as of 23/5/2023). Students should use a browser and go to brainpop.com to sign in.

There are a small number of students that got started for EALD using a username and password within BrainPop. They will need to continue to use that login to see previous task completed.
